About Us
♦ The Team first started off in the year 2007.
♦ Currently there are 40+ fencers, consisting of Secondary One,Two,Three and Four students.
♦ The Team took up both
Foil and
Sabre.
♦ Our 2 Coaches are Coach Aik Phong and Coach Alex.
♦ Our Teachers-in-charge are Miss Lee Pei Ni and Mr Tham Boon Khai

RE: FENCING OUTING
There will be a fencing outing on,
Date: 17 June 2009
Time: 12 (meeting time)- 4 (end of activity)
Meeting point: Punggol bus interchange
Venue of activity: Kallang leisure park
Activity: lunch followed by ice skating
How we will be going there: bus (service 43 & 16- liable to change)
Cost/ how much to bring: At least $25
Attire: fencing shirt and jeans
Things to bring: EZ-link, jacket, socks
This outing is organised for the fencers to relax after half a year of studying and training hard during fencing. The outing is also a time for the fencing team to bond and have fun together. This will boost our team spirit, which is essential in every team not only to win, but also to build a strong and lasting friendship, understanding and trust between one another.
I sincerely hope that you will give your consent to your child/ ward in attending this outing.

URGENT MATTER!!!!! PLEASE READ!
hey hey! about the fencing outing, a lot of fencers have said that they are not free on mon while some say the time is too late. Thus, Alena (thanks lots!) will be helping me make a survey and post it on the blog. This survey is COMPULSORY. I really need all the fencers to do this survey so as to get the best result... (haha. sounds like some big matter... :P don't know how to re-phrase so bear with the 'this is BIG!' tone. hehe.) the survey will stop on Tues, 16 April, so do complete the survey ASAP and help to inform the rest of the fencers k?
I'll be able to post and give the latest update latest tues (day the survey end) so do check then. if you're going, best is check on tues so you'll know if the outing is on wed or not...
for those parents who need to see form, i'll be putting it up on tues. its not really a consent form though... more like informing them.

Hey fencers,
I have some important stuffs to update you guys,so please continue reading this and if possible,spread it to other fencers in our team.=)
As discussed with the teachers, new "rules" would be implemented and some other new activities coming up.I am sorry for this maybe quite long-winded but I've only listed down the main points.So do be sure of everything mentioned below.=)
FIRST-Tuesday & Thursday schedule
When school reopens, Spencer and myself would be opening sessions for different activities on tuesday and/or thursday.
Spencer-Sparring/Free fencing
Alena-Games/CaptainBall etc
Please check with the Spencer/Alena if you wanna attend.
Attendance would be taken and hopefully most of you would turn up for it.So if you wanna sign up for which please do update us beforehand. =)
SECOND-Duty Roster
Basically we used to have a duty roster,but it didn't work so we re-allocated everything and included sec1s in. Faris,Spencer,QianLoong and myself would each be in-charge-of one team. Regarding the allocation and individual work scopes, we will update the team further when school reopens.=)
THIRD-Housekeeping session
When school reopens, we would be having a short housekeeping session for about 10 mins. It will be held on every last training of the week(Wednesday).This short session is to update the team about the upcoming activities,updates and performance of the team for the entire week.So do prepare to stay for alittle while.=)
FOURTH-Usual Warm-up
As according to the previous warm-up running plan, we will still have the boys in front and girls following behind. So the leading person of boys' team would still be Faris,ending off with Spencer.Leading person of girls' team is QianLoong,ending off with myself.Our new warm-up running route will be around the school instead of around the corridor of the hall and the number of rounds is reduced to 2.
FIFTH-End of year camp
Our team may be having a EOY fencing camp. Updates would be given earliest in September. So do await in excitement! =)
SIXTH-BladeClub Trainings
BladeClub is holding fencing trainings in Greendale every Saturday from 8.30-11.30am for $40 per month.Those who are interested can either inform through tagging in this blog or email-ing to me.=)

the fencing outing will be conducted next monday, 15 june, from 5pm-~8pm. we'll be going ice skating (2hrs) then eat dinner together. more updates on how much to bring and where we'll be meeting tmm. so do remember to check the blog!

Yo everybody!
i'm here to tell you guys about the long-waited outing... haha. i apologise for not updating you guys (eugene is my 'mouth'). haha.
anyway, the outing we have decided to include the sec 1s... they can choose if they want to come a not. this means that the outing will include the sec 1,2 and 3. based on the survey, we'll be going ice-skating! yay! haha. anyway, the price is as follow...
Adults
admission fee: $14/2 hr
overtime charge: $5/hr
skate rental (figure): $3.50/pair
skate rental (hockey): $5.50/pair
Students (with student pass)
admission fee: $13/2hr
overtime charge: $4/hr
skate rental (figure): $3.50/pair
skate rental (hockey): $5/pair
Glove rental (adult): $2/pair
Socks rental: $2/pair
Admission Fee include ice surfacing time (1pm, 4pm, 7pm - approximately 20 minutes), skates collection and return time.
Admission Ticket must be returned to the cashier upon exit. There will be a $20.00 charge for each lost ticket.
Now, we have to decide on a date to go there. eugene will be conducting a survey on the next training. so be there!
i'll also check if booking the whole rink is cheaper a not so keep your ears open for any updates!
